Oroszország / Russia (1 rubel = kb. 6,5 Ft / 1 Euro = ca. 40 rubel)

A legdrágább város Irkutszk, a legolcsóbb Tomszk volt. Szentpéterváron és Moszkvában inkább a hely turisztikai adottságaitól függ az ár.
The most expensive place was Irkutsk and the cheapest one was Tomsk. The price level in Moscow and St.Petersburg depends on the touristic scale of the place.

Mongólia / Mongolia (1 Ft = kb. 5,5-6 tögrög / 1 Euro = ca. 1600 tögrög)

Mivel nincs saját gyártású dobozos kólájuk, csak import, ezért az a furcsa helyzet fordult elő, hogy a 0,33-as kóla drágább, mint fél literes…

Mongólia teli van magyar édesipari termékekkel: Cherry Queen, Tibi csoki, stb.

Tibi és a többiek

Az is érdekes, hogy mintha mindenhol szabott áron dolgoznának, alig van eltérés az árak között. Ugyanannyiba kerül minden a Góbi közepén egy százfős faluban, mint UB-ban a belvárosban.

As there is no domestic canned cola in Mongolia, the smaller canned version is more expensive than the larger bottled cola. The supermarket shelfs in Mongolia are packed with sweets and desserts from Hungary. Interestingly, they seem to work with fixed prices throughout the country with things costing the same in the middle of the Gobi and in downtown UB, as well.

De az élmény megfizethetetlen, minden másra ott a MasterCard. Well, azért nem úgy van ám az. Először is, Mongóliában menőbb a Visa, másodsorban pedig a chipes kártyámat nem lehetett sehol használni, ahol próbáltuk. Sok helyen próbáltuk… Szerencsére volt másik kártyám egy másik banktól.

Ja, és dollárban is lehet szinte mindenhol fizetni. Vannak helyek, ahol eleve USD-ben adják meg az árakat. Még múzeumban is…

And you can pay with US dollars almost everywhere in the country, too. Even museums have their USD prices. I only had problems with my Master Card as Visa is more welcome in Mongolia. And my new card with the chip was not accepted at all. Luckily, I had another card from another bank without any chip.
